SIX13 founder Tone Swep is an American writer-producer, brand innovator, and creative in the artist/entertainer and indie/startup space.
Since 2007, Swep has been the Chief Idealist for SIX13|RDD, Chief Creative for its art imprints DOPE 310 and Pure DOPE, and executive producer for its art house LOOTxRIOT.
Prior to launching SIX13 in ’07, Swep worked in Spike Lee’s west coast development office. Primarily assigned to screen projects “Sucker Free City”, “She Hate Me”, “Sauce”, and similarly themed film and television projects while at Lee’s 40 Acres & a Mule Filmworks, Swep also worked as a screenwriter, landing work with Dave Philips at Edmonds Ent., Tracey Baker-Simmons and Wanda Shelley at B2 Entertainment, Jason Geter at Grand Hustle, and Rainforest Films with producers Will Packer and Rob Hardy.
In 2010, Swep launched Pure DOPE Magazine, a literary lifestyle publication marketed to the Young, Fly & Affluent millennial. The publication and its two companion outlets – SEXEE Magazine and MANSION Men’s Magazine – ran until 2017. From 2015-16, Swep creative produced “The Summer Sessions“, a viral series for artist interviews shot on location at an upscale Venice, California beach house and aired exclusively to the short-form video sharing platform Mobli‘s 35 million active social media users.
